Poppit Sands Beach
Cardigan Bay Holiday Park lies just 300 yards from the beach with beach access via a well-laid path.

Poppit Sands is a charming a place as the name suggests with its extensive natural sand dunes and boating jetties that perfectly frame this pristine sandy beach with views looking out to Cardigan Bay and Cardigan Island.

It is no wonder that Poppit Sands has recently been awarded the UK Seaside and Blue Flag awards. The stunning views here will literally take your breath away.

Poppit Sands is an ideal location to relax or enjoy a full range of water activities such as sailing, surfing, kayaking, boogie boarding and fishing and the beach is safe for swimming with lifeguards present during the summer months.

Poppit Sands is a dog-friendly beach with some restrictions applying during the summer months, there is a large area set aside for dog-walkers with strict rules on keeping the beach clean.

Mwnt
Mwnt is a well-sheltered, sandy cove that is framed by steep cliffs; Managed by the National Trust, Mwnt is a popular beach although it is off the normal tourist maps.

It is unsuitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs but the walk down to the cove is spectacular and there is parking available at the top.

Mwnt beach is great for swimming, Fishing, body boarding etc. but there is no lifeguard on duty here. Mwnt also boast a small white church that is worth a visit.

Tresaith
Tresaith is just 8 miles from Cardigan Bay Holiday Park and is again set in a quaint sheltered and sandy bay and has a waterfall that cascades over the cliffs to the beach. The beach is perfect for families during the summer as it offers safe swimming and rock pools to catch the odd fish or crab. There is a second beach that can be accessed by crossing below the waterfall if the tides allow. There are public toilets near the beach, with wheelchair access.

You will find a café, a shop and a pub called the Ship that serves food and overlooks the beach. Treseith is popular with the sailing fraternity.

Llangrannog
Llangrannog is probably one of the best beaches North of Cardigan and is accessible all year round. Great for families with children or surfers or for couples who want to chill out and people watch. There are toilets close to the beach, a shop, cafes and two pubs that serve food.

The main beach can be accessed from the car park or it is possible at low tide to walk round to the second beach. If you miss judge the tides you can walk back over the cliff the top path that has handrails.
